Sports and Recreation SHSM

This  two-year program, starting in Grade 11, is offered to students who are considering a career in any number of areas such as physical therapy, policing, medical careers, teaching, coaching, sport and recreation management or personal training and more.   Included in the program are the following mandatory certifications :  First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, as well as dynamic experiential workshops, like:  personal training, working with persons with disabilities, infection control, coaching, etc.  There is no cost to the student and the SHSM red seal diploma is being recognized by more and more post-secondary institutions.
