Coffee house 2023 was a smashing success. Taking place in the 1st floor foyer of JMSS, the recently attended a coffee house was an evening of amazing performances. The atmosphere was electric, and the crowd was full of enthusiasm. The performers were all incredibly talented, and each one had something unique to offer. From singers to bands to classical compositions, the show had something for everyone. It was an evening of celebration and entertainment that won't soon be forgotten!

We watched the original composition of Jack Walker and Edwardo Labbé called Kiddie Pool, a song Jack wrote about going into college and leaving high school’s safety net. It was a beautiful song and was adored by the crowd. We also watched crowd favorite Felix Liang, an amazing accordion player who was continuously requested by attendees prior to purchasing tickets. Eve Hecht also performed at the most recent coffee house providing an incredible performance of No Body, No Crime by Taylor Swift. Her performance was very captivating and had everyone entranced in her show. Cassie Hartman also performed a emotional masterpiece of Im Like A Bird by Nellie Furtado on her guitar. Her voice was truly majestic as she strummed the heartfelt song.
Upon speaking to multiple attendees the overall consensus was clear and that was the love for these events and the aspiration for more Coffee houses to occur.
