How To Apply

There are five simple steps for applying to co-op:

Choose co-op in Xello in the course selection for the next year in January.

Finish co-op application - Click on link to access the form:

2024-2025 Co-op Application Form

Request 2 teacher references - Please COPY the following email blurb request for a reference and email it to TWO teachers: "I am applying to the co-op program and am requiring a teacher reference. Would you be able to complete the following:

2024-2025 Co-op Teacher Reference Form for me.

Once the forms are submitted, Mr. Zubryn will contact you for an interview in April-May.

Participate in an interview with the company you will be working at anytime from May-August.

Important Tips

It’s encouraged for students to do their own research in order to learn more about what job and companies may be of interest to them.

If you complete the four steps in time… you have a greater likelihood of getting the placement you hope for, being accepted for an interview, having more time to figure everything out, and a stronger certainty of your placement.

If you don’t complete the four steps in time… you have a greatly reduced pool of opportunities available to you, may miss the deadline for certain interviews with certain companies, and may need to be willing to accept a placement that you weren’t initially hoping for.
