What is Currency

A system of money that is in use in a particular country or region.

If you travel to a new country you will likely notice that the money they are using looks different. They will have different bills and coins and the prices might even look very different from those here in Canada. That's because different currencies have different values, we can determine how much a currency is worth compared to another using the exchange rate.
