Sledding

When I was 9, I went sledding with my friends and family during winter break. The place we went to was called Winterloo, and the first thing we did was try the small slides. I was really excited until I got to the top. As I was sitting on the tube, I only then realized how high up I was. I started rethinking this, but moments later, I got pushed down. It was exhilarating. When I got to the bottom, I wanted to do it again. I started walking to this other slide that had some ramps. We waited in line for about 10 minutes. When it was my turn, I got on the tube and went flying down. As I slid off the ramp and landed, it felt like I dropped 30 ft. I felt dizzy after, so I took a break. After I felt better, we all decided to go on the big slides. When we got there, I was scared walking up the hill. After we got to the top, I did rock, paper, scissors with my friend, and I beat him, so I was going first. As I was getting on the tube, my friend secretly asked the employee at the top of the hill to spin me while going down. I got ready and held on tight as if my life depended on it. Then he spun me and down I went. As I was spinning down, I was screaming for my life, and wondering why he spun me. With my head still processing what I just experienced, I took a moment to sit and cool down. When I was better, I realized my friend got his turn and was waiting next to me. I decided to confront him, and when he confessed I said '' This means war!'' A couple of moments went by, and I decided to get over it or did I... We kept riding the big slides because they were a lot more fun. One hour later, on our last turn, before the slide closed, I decided to get revenge on my friend. I asked the employee to spin him and push him down the slide with ramps. I guess you can say that now it was a win-win situation. When he got to the bottom, all he said to me was “ Touche ”.
