Handmade Crocheted Cardigans

Over the course of the last few weeks, I have found it hard to actually find time to do something fun and relaxing for myself.
I am always so focused on homework and other things that it came to the point where I was so burnt out that I didn’t really notice how I was feeling.
I took on the project of crocheting a cardigan because I said to myself “maybe you might like it…who knows?” and I ended up loving it!!
These two cardigans are actually the only two projects that I’ve actually ever crocheted before…I’ve done knitting and embroidery in the past but never crocheting.
I loved how the two turned out and I hope that I inspire you to take on a project of your own! Whether that be knitting, crocheting, embroidery or anything that pleases your heart :)
This cardigan was actually the very very first one that I made and I just love everything about it! The size of the cardigan down to the colours that I used for it…
This cardigan was actually way too big for me a couple of weeks ago but I ended up altering and resizing it so that I could actually use it :)
For this cardigan I used three different colours and about 600 grams of yarn all in all. This cardigan was pretty easy to make as I was using patchwork, so if you ever decide to make one for yourself or a friend I definitely suggest doing patchwork!!
This cardigan took around two weeks to make and I am very happy with how it turned out. As for the extra yarn from the altering process; I will be using it in another project so stay tuned!!
First of all, in my opinion I personally think that this cardigan kinda gives off ✨librarian vibes✨… which is probably the reason why I want to where it everywhere I go.
I love the way that this cardigan fits on me and the fact that you can look so comfy yet so formal at the same time!
For this cardigan I used once again about 600 grams of yarn all in all; however, I tried something new! This time I wanted to try and use my knowledge about sewing and incorporate that into this cardigan instead of doing patchwork.
This cardigan took about 10 days to make and I just feel so warm and cozy when I wear it :)
