I remember my first day at Canterbury. I came for the second semester of grade 9, but I immediately felt welcome. After only a month, the world went into lockdown and I couldn't play with others until grade 11. It feels like that was yesterday and a hundred years ago at the same time. Despite all the challenges I've faced, I would never change coming to Canterbury. We all had to do online classes and social distance, but I'm grateful that I got to do it with the amazing teachers and friends that I met along the way. I wish all my peers the best for the future. Music will always be a part of me, and for that, I am thankful. You'll always be in my heart. Oh, and a Baritone is NOT the same as a Euphonium! 🙋♂️POOKS!
