I remain steadfast in the classroom to provide my students with an honest and open education. An education that elevates and amplifies student's voices, lived experiences, and stories. An education that is grounded in equity, truthfulness, and engagement.

As a teacher, I find joy in witnessing students being bold and unapologetic in their  learning.  The foundation of my teaching is student-centered, making sure that students see themselves in the lesson and  curriculum.  

This is my purpose!
