Message from Assistant Principal

Change to the AR Fun Day: students and volunteers

Parents and Volunteers,

Due to the inclement weather coming on Friday, Mr. Cann and I are making a quick decision to adjust the AR Fun Day to Thursday morning (yes tomorrow) and Friday morning and afternoon. We will be inside the gym having fun Thursday morning to include breakfast of bagels, cream cheese and jelly with juice until 10:30 a.m. and on Friday afternoon we will be utilizing the OCES Café. If the weather permits the airnasium is an option for Friday. The inflatables have been cancelled.

On Friday, students will be called to the Café for fun until 10:30 a.m. They will return to the classroom and eat lunch with their classmates in the Café. I will provide all AR Fun Day Attendees with a coupon to receive 2 slices of cheese pizza at no charge along with a small bottle of water. Then the fun will resume in the Cafe after 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Café for the movie with popcorn. Snow cones will be served around 12:30 and completed by 1:30 on Friday.

IF YOUR CHILD HAS FOOD ALLERGIES, PLEASE SEND LUNCH AND SNACKS.

As for our volunteers, the best solution with such short notice is to ask for you to be flexible. If have already registered to volunteer with through Sign Up.com please follow this request. If your last name starts with A – M, please help us tomorrow from 8: 15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. For letters N-Z please come Friday morning from 8:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Then we will resume at 1:00 p.m. in the Café for movie and popcorn. Clean up in the Café will take place from the time the students leave to 3:30 p.m. Of course if this is a hardship and you have already made plans to come on Friday we will understand.
