Meet Marcus
Marcus Johnson is a Michigan-based student leader, public policy advocate, and political communicator. He has served as Student Body President at Oakland University, representing more than 17,000 students, and as Vice President of the Michigan College Democrats. His work focuses on student advocacy, higher education, youth political engagement, public accountability, and building institutions that better serve the people they represent. His public work reflects a commitment to practical policy, civic participation, and building political spaces that are more responsive to the people they claim to represent.
Marcus’s media appearances, public commentary, and advocacy work focus on higher education, youth political engagement, public accountability, democratic participation, and the future of student leadership.
