Lauer / Conway Flip

On February 14, 2017, at approximately 7:00am, Matt Lauer interviewed Kellyanne Conway on NBC's Today Show about the resignation of Michael Flynn, President Trump's National Security Advisor.

This project features a verbatim re-enactment of the interview, performed by actors who have carefully studied Conway’s and Lauer’s words, gestures, and movements. Four different gender configurations allow us to consider the following:

• What happens to your perception of the interview if a participant's gender is inverted?
• What tactics are the participants using?
• When do the tactics succeed and when do they fail?
