Training & Support

  • Rehearsal Teaching Sessions: Do you want to practice with Zoom? A member of the Steinhardt AT team can join your Zoom meeting as a “student,” giving you the opportunity to practice a specific lesson or just the basics before you do it in class. Sign up for a session!

  • Course Site Proofreader: Would you like someone to take a glance at your NYU Classes course site? Look it over for broken links or formatting concerns? Please email steinhardt.technology@nyu.edu to request proofreading services. We ask that you give us 72 hours to complete the request.

  • Remote Class Support: If you are feeling anxious about your first remote class, please reach out (email steinhardt.technology@nyu.edu) so that Academic Technology may assist you. We are available to join your remote class for the first 15 minutes in order to ensure technology is working correctly! Please give us 72 hours advance notice.

For remote instruction and work, it is even more important to consider digital accessibility, as there will be individuals who are not present to request or provide assistance.

As of March 11, 2020, NYU Steinhardt is conducting classes entirely remotely. This means students and instructors will utilize the available NYU tools in order to facilitate remote instruction.
