Welcome to the NYU Law Remote and Hybrid Instruction Support Guide, designed to aid faculty in teaching with technology. Whether you are new to remote/hybrid instruction or seeking to enhance your pedagogy, this site reviews best practices and provides tutorials/resources for building an engaging and robust remote learning community.

This site is structured in four parts, available in the left-side navigation menu (click on the top left '3 line' icon):

  1. Getting Started - policies, procedures, tools, settings, and how to get started teaching on Zoom (for both remote and hybrid instruction)

  2. Remote Instruction - how to use the supported technology tool set (Zoom, NYU Classes, Panopto)

  3. Hybrid Instruction - how to launch, use, and modify classroom technology (hardware and software)

  4. Faculty Workshop Videos - recordings of the LID-designed faculty training workshops focusing on remote instruction
