Welcome to the Brujic group!
We are a group of soft matter physicists, physical chemists, and materials scientists based at the Center for Soft Matter Research (CSMR) at New York University (NYU).
We turn ordinary emulsions into extraordinary materials. By engineering droplet surfaces with DNA and proteins, controlling their internal structure, and adding active dynamics, we've created a versatile platform for studying self-assembly, memory, and collective behavior. Our droplets form gels, mimic tissues, and fold like proteins. Welcome to programmable soft matter!
Feel free to explore our website to learn more about the group and our research.
