Features: Renowned for its extensive collection of over 120,000 precious Chinese artifacts, including bronzes, ceramics, calligraphy, and paintings. The museum is organized by theme, offering a deep dive into China's ancient culture.

Location: 100 Renmin Avenue, Huangpu District (黄浦区人民大道100号)

Feature: I know this doesn't sound like a fun place to visit, but people on Tripadvisor said it far exceeded expectation. Recently opened in 2022 after renovation, a lot in intearctive high tech stuff, tells the story of the city. This is always the MUST VISIT STOP for all foreign diplomats and officials when they visit Shanghai. Just look up the place yourself and you might be intrigued.
