We invite publications on artificial intelligence and machine learning methods and systems. The focus should be AI Safety and LLMs with applications to financial services. The scope of the workshop includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
LLM's for financial services
Emerging use of LLMs in financial crime (from financial scams to market manipulation and spear-phishing attacks)
Systemic risks the LLM capabilities pose to the financial markets
Upcoming security challenges in AI in finance
AI safety protocols for financial services applications
AI robustness techniques and solutions
Emergent behavior phenomena in AI
Benefits and drawbacks of a potential “AI Pause”
Role of Model Governance in regulating LLMs
Advanced AI monitoring and regulation capabilities
Ethical AI capabilities beyond “credit fairness”
Additionally we encourage expository papers to at the intersection of academics and the financial industry
Overview of Industry Challenges
Short papers from financial industry practitioners that introduce domain specific problems and challenges to academic researchers. These papers should describe problems that can inspire new research directions in academia, and should serve to bridge the information gap between academia and the financial industry.

Submission Guidelines
All submissions must be original contributions that have not been previously published and that are not currently under review by other conferences or journals.
We accept full research papers no longer than 6 pages (excluding references). The formatting should adhere to the ACM formatting guidelines (see below). Submissions should be PDF file type.
Subject to scheduling constraints, all accepted papers will be presented in the workshop. So at least one author of each accepted submission must attend the workshop to present their work.
Submission Process
Submissions are to be made through the OpenReview platform. Please navigate to the the Submission Link. Authors must submit the paper content (PDF document), title, author names, contact details, and a brief abstract electronically through the workshop’s submission site.
Review Process
This workshop will follow a single-blind review process, where authors’ identities are known to the reviewers, but reviewers’ identities are not disclosed to the authors. There will be no rebuttal period, and all submissions will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Your work will be assessed based on its relevance to the workshop, novelty, technical contribution, significance of impact, clarity, and reproducibility.
Accepted Papers
All accepted papers will have the chance to give an oral presentation. Details on poster format and duration of presentations will be provided by the organizers after acceptance.
The workshop is non-archival and will not have official proceedings. Only the author names and titles of accepted papers will appear on the website, with no disclosure of any content. Authors may post their work on arXiv or other online repositories.
