KMS Bands

Jasmine Joubran is a recent graduate of Western Michigan University, where she received degrees in music education and horn performance. She completed her semester-long internship at Jenison Public Schools, preparing to teach both band and orchestra. After graduation, Ms. Joubran served as a long-term substitute for the music program at Chippewa Hills Intermediate School in Remus, Michigan. She found an unexpected love for middle school students during these experiences and wouldn't dream of teaching any other age group. Ms. Joubran loves to travel (this picture was taken during a rehearsal in South Africa), and she has been all over the world thanks to many musical opportunities. She also loves to spend time with her dog, especially if it means taking walks or playing fetch!
