A TVI shared that they like to use Unifix cubes as finger guides on braillers, but adhering and removing the Unifix cubes is a bit of a pain. No longer! These printed finger guides slide on and off easily, but only when you want them to!
I've received several requests to print student's names in their preferred colors. These letter manipulatives can be used for a variety of learning activities. For letters like i or j, a layer of black is added to the base of the model to keep the dot connected to the rest of the letter. The black layer is difficult to see when the letters are presented on a black background.
This D20 with Braille Numbers was printed for one of our avid Dungeons and Dragons players. The die has both print and braille numbers.
Amanda Crayton's Braille Play-Doh Stampers are great for young learners. We found that the original model took a very long time to print and broke a little too easily. After a few quick edits to the original files, we created the simplified stampers shown below. These print in half the time, use a third of the material, and are much sturdier!
A TVI requested a set of custom initial stencils for their students. These stencils allowed the students to practice writing their initials without frustration. The top left corner of the model is slanted so that the student can quickly tell how to orient the stencil.
