Professional Learning Events

In Person / Virtual / Blended

In response to COVID-19 pandemic, Northern Buckeye Professional Learning has been holding Virtual Professional Learning days for our member districts which are developed in consultation with district leadership. Many districts have chosen to have a variety of sessions offered during their scheduled days. We have done several multi-day PLEs including some half-day opportunities.

We have a range of sessions that can be offered with a live presenter that run typically for 20 minutes. The remaining 10 minutes of a half hour block is devoted to answering questions. Participants can choose from 3 different tracks and sessions are scheduled in half hour blocks. Zoom links are provided to participants via a shared Google Sheets document which serves as an agenda.

Each Zoom session is recorded and can be viewed later by district staff and also this allows them to watch the sessions multiple times to help build mastery of the topic. A typical agenda is shown in the screenshot below. We will fully customize your agenda including district branding. In Blended PL days some pre-recorded sessions (denoted with *) may be used if an instructor is not available to present live.

What Sessions are Available?
