Mr. Jacob Page, Director
Jacob Page is in his 2nd year at Colerain High School, and in his 5th year teaching. He marched 3 years of the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps, 3 years at Youngstown State University, and 3 years at Trinity Area High School in Washington, Pa. Mr. Page is also the director of bands at Colerain High School and teaches the Music Theory class.
Mr. Glen Greenwood, Assistant Director
Mr. Kyle Hudson, Assistant Band Director
Kyle Hudson is an alumni of the Colerain Marching Band, where he marched flute for 4 years. He graduated from Capital University in 2016, double majoring in Music Education and Flute Performance. Currently, he is teaching 7th and 8th grade band at Shroder High School.
Mr. John Boys, Brass Caption Head
John Boys is enjoying his 14th year working with the Colerain Band. He holds both Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees from Miami University. Mr. Boys is also the band director at White Oak Middle School. He and his wife reside in Fairfield and enjoy being parents to their son, who turns two years old this fall.
Mr. Brian Huhtala, Brass Instructor
Brian Huhtala is happy to return as the brass instructor after having previously worked with us in 2008 and 2009. Mr. Huhtala holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Miami University and a Master of Music Education degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He is currently a band director in the Cincinnati Public School District. In his spare time, Mr. Huhtala plays trumpet with the Polished Brass Quintet and soprano cornet in the Cincinnati Brass Band. He lives in Fairfield with his wife Emily and their two miniature dachshunds.
Mr. Josh Strange, Percussion Caption Head
This is Josh’s third year working with the Colerain front ensemble. From Dayton, Ohio and a graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School, he will soon recieve his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from CCM. Active on the Cincinnati music scene, he freelances as a multi-instrumentalist. Although he never attended Colerain, he has as much spirit as a true Cardinal and can be found trying to draw the perfect logo on the board.
