Mrs. Evans

Hi everyone! My name is Mrs. Evans and I am going to be your virtual math, science, and social studies teacher this year! This is my fourth year teaching in the Niagara Wheatfield School District.

Prior to joining the West Street family, I taught for 7 years in the City of Buffalo. I have taught both 1^st and 2^nd grade. I obtained my childhood education degree from SUNY Oswego and my degree as a literacy specialist from SUNY Buffalo.

I currently live in Amherst with my husband, Ricky, and our 2 1/2 year old son, George, and our newborn twins, Henry and Charlie! While I am on maternity leave, Miss Pascucci will be my long term substitute.

Mrs. Buth

My name is Mrs. Buth and I will be your ELA (Phonics, Reading & Writing) teacher this year! I have been teaching in NW since 1995! I was a 5th grade classroom teacher at Colonial Village for 8 years before having triplets and then staying home with them for a bit. Afterwards, I taught 3rd grade at CV for a year.

I then switched to being a Literacy Specialist (K-5) for the district (still at CV except for one year when I was at both CV and West Street).

I obtained my B.S. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from SUNY Fredonia and two M.S. degrees in Education from Niagara University: one in Foundation and Teaching and the other in Literacy Instruction. I also am Orton-Gillingham trained at the Academy Associate Level and tutor students with dyslexia.

I love spending time with my family and all of our pets!

Miss Pascucci

My name is Miss Pascucci and I am your virtual Math, Science, and Social Studies teacher! I will be covering for Mrs. Evans!

I received both my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Special Education and Childhood Education (Grades 1^st– 6^th) and my Master’s Degree in Literacy Instruction (Birth - 6^th grade) from Niagara University. I am a proud Purple Eagle!

For seven years, I worked at the Latchkey/YWCA program within the Niagara Wheatfield elementary schools. I have substitute taught throughout the Niagara Wheatfield and North Tonawanda School Districts. I was given the opportunity to become a Long Term Substitute Teacher in a 1st grade classroom at West Street Elementary and Long Term Substitute 5th grade Consultant Teacher at North Tonawanda Intermediate school. I also recently completed a Long Term Substitute Teacher position for one of the Virtual Kindergarten Teachers (ELA) in the Niagara Wheatfield Virtual Program.

I love spending time with my family and watching the Bills play!
