Welcome to NWC Horizons: Careers Series
Equipping students to make informed choices about their future, the NWC Horizons Careers series offers our girls the opportunity of attending talks from a variety of speakers from a broad selection of fields of work. Pupils can reap the benefits of engaging confidently as an audience: listening, to glean useful insights and asking keen and pertinent questions to receive the advice they need to influence the action they will take to set them on their chosen path.
We had planned to invite all GDST Heads of Careers to attend the live talks, thus enabling you to view the talk with your pupils in school, but obviously the latest lockdown has made this impossible. Unfortunately, we are also unable to invite all GDST pupils to join the live talks as we have an audience limit of 500 per event. However, we would be delighted if you are available to attend the talks and we will post recordings of the speeches on this google site on the day after the event - allowing you the opportunity to share it with your pupils.
