My Teaching Philosophy

As a teacher, it is important to understand all learning styles that students bring to the classroom. Each student should be valued as an individual with unique strengths and needs that must be challenged and nurtured. It is my job to provide each student with the tools and opportunities necessary to succeed beyond their potential. If students are constantly challenged and encouraged to do their personal best, they will come to the realization that no goal is unattainable.

I am very passionate about education and I am always focused on the best interest of my students. The feeling of accomplishment I get when I am able to make learning accessible to all only strengthens my motivation. I can promise dedication and willingness to ensure growth and progress from each student who walks into my classroom.

My ultimate goal is for my students to understand that we are all life-long learners and that learning is fun!! :o)

"Once children learn how to learn, nothing is going to narrow their mind. The essence of teaching is to make learning contagious, to have one idea spark another." -- Marva Collins
