-CCSD Attendance Guidelines-

• Students not on campus before 9am will have to check-in at the front office and will be marked as tardy

• At 3 unexcused absences, a student will be flagged as truant

  • Habitual truancy can lead to  educational neglect being filed via Child Protective Services

• Families have 3 days to provide a doctors note for a student to be excused

  • Hand written notes from the parent are accepted, but do not take away from the truancy count

  • If you are struggling to get your child to the doctor, below are resources for free & low-cost clinics for families

• You may contact the office if a family emergency arises and pre-arranged absences are needed

  • Per CCSD guidelines, students may only have absences marked for special circumstances a total of 10 times per school year

**At this time, CCSD does not offer Wynn ES busses for student transportation
