Theater Courses

Theater 1-4

  • Students will start the year off learning Improv and end the semester with an improvisation performance and scripted scenes.

  • Semester 2 will include Theater Awards performances and musical theater.

  • All students are encouraged to audition for the musical.

  • This is a course with levels of students from beginners to advanced. Advanced level students are often given opportunities to direct.

  • Students are encouraged to audition for all plays and musicals regardless of experience. Everyone is welcome!


Technical Theater 1-4

  • This is a combined skill level course.

  • Beginning level students work under advanced level students, called crew leads, in specific areas behind the scenes.

  • Students design, build, and run all of Wrangler Theater's mainstage productions.

  • Students enrolling in this course are a part of a 3-year program of student for CTE and are eligible for up to 6 college credits provided they maintain a 3.0 GPA in the program and take the full 3-year cycle.

  • Level 3 students will also be eligible to earn their OSHA 10 certification
