​Bell times for 2023-2024:

7:45 a.m. - Start of the day bell and gates open for students to enter the school through the cafeteria.

8:00 a.m. - Tardy bell followed by announcements.

10:15 a.m. - ECSE morning class dismissal

11:26 a.m. - ECSE afternoon class starts

2:11 p.m. - End of the day Dismissal for all students. 

Grades 1 and 2 exit through the front gate. Grades 3, 4, and 5 exit through the Statz Street gates. Kindergarten exit through the Kindergarten gate.

ECSE, SLD, KIDS, and Autism programs exit through the front of the school.

SAFEKEY

The Safekey Program is an extension of the school day for children of working parents who need child care.  The Safekey Program is held at John Tartan Elementary School each afternoon from 2:11 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the 2023-2024 school year.  This program is administered by the City of North Las Vegas Recreation Department.  The school office can help with information but cannot register your child for the program. Please call the Safekey office at 633-1608 for more information.
