• Awarded Coach of the Year 4 times in her tenure by the Swim & Dive Coaching Association

• Led SVHS to a State Runner Up acknowledgement, in 2011 for Swimming and Diving

• Ms. Rees began her love for competitive swimming at the age of 8 and by the age of 12 was competing in AAU competitions in Arizona.

• As a 14 year member of the Grizzly family, she previously was involved with girls volleyball and is currently coaching cross country.

• For the past 5 years, Ms. Rees has raised money to support the "Honored & Remembered Military Organization" and handed out 11 flags to families of fallen soldiers
