Harvey and Mary Stanford

Harvey and Mary completed thirty years of dedicated service to the young citizens of Las Vegas.  This was the first time that the Clark County School District had so honored a husband and wife educational team.  In 1941 these two outstanding teachers moved from Matador, Texas.  They arrived in a developing community to become a mentor, teacher, coach, friend and role model for countless hundreds of youth.
