Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! Please take a moment to read the FAQ documents below.

If you need a chromebook or student curriculum/materials, please call the office to make an appointment at 702-799-5530.

Families in grades PreK-3 will receive information that will show the cohorts your student(s) have been placed in by the CCSD and Robert E. Lake ES administration. Classroom teachers will be sharing the student placement information via SeeSaw and/or email. Letters will be sent by the school as well. Students who chose to remain in Cohort C in grades PreK through 3 will

not receive a placement letter unless their teacher is changing. Those students will remain with their current teacher placement.

The cohorts and placements were designed to accommodate social distancing guidelines in our classrooms, to keep staff and students safe, and to accommodate CDC health guidelines. We worked diligently to keep siblings together in the same cohorts, accommodate the bus schedule, and to make sure classroom numbers are within health and safety protocols. Please note that if you have questions or concerns about placements to reach out to the school on Monday, February 22, 2021. *Changes to placements will be based on individual situational needs and you will be placed on a waiting list.* Again, these placements are purposefully designed to keep your students safe, our teaching staff safe, and our community safe.

Attached to this message is a Hybrid Model Guide for Parents that was developed. Please take this time to review all the information presented. Our hope is that we covered the majority of questions or concerns that parents have for this return to school.

Returning to the school campus can not happen without the support and cooperation of our school community and our families. We will need to continue to work together as a community to ensure our children are safe, learning, and growing. Please take the time to work on proper mask wearing, practice how to properly wash your hands with your children, and talk about the student expectations with them found in the Hybrid Parent guide. We are excited and want this return to be successful, safe, and a stepping stone towards a sense of normalcy for our students. We thank you all for your continued support and dedication to your children and to your support of our school.
