Hello, I'm Mrs. Christiansen the librarian, and I'm excited to welcome you to our library. My goal as your librarian is to help every reader discover books they'll truly enjoy, whether you're looking for an exciting adventure, a chance to escape into another world, a story to help you relax, or simply the joy of reading for fun.

I strive to create a warm, welcoming library where everyone feels comfortable exploring, learning, and spending time with a good book. Whether you're a lifelong reader or just beginning your reading journey, I'm here to help you find the perfect book and make the library a place you'll always enjoy visiting.

I'm lived in Las Vegas since I was 10 years old. I went to elementary school at Nate Mack Elementary and attended Cannon Junior Middle School. I would walk about a mile to my bus stop and then take the bus to school each day. I graduated from VoTech High School. I really enjoyed playing softball in high school. When I graduated there were only 10 high schools in Las Vegas. Now there are more than 50 in Las Vegas.

We would go to Hoover Dam anytime we had family in town. We were fortunate to be there in July of 1983 when Lake Mead reached full capacity and they had to open the spillways to let water flow over. It was a really cool experience.

One of my favorite things to do is spend time at the beach with my family. Growing up in California, I was lucky to live close to the ocean, and I loved boogie boarding and playing in the waves.

Before I became a teacher, I worked as an Interior Architect for 10 years, designing homes, restaurants, and commercial spaces. It was a creative and rewarding career, but I wouldn't trade teaching for anything. I truly love being part of the Molasky family.
