Welcome! My name is Mrs. Wendy Lane and I teach 7th grade reading and language arts. This year I will be teaching two blocks of reading and language arts, as well as a section of accelerated reading. I have been a teacher in the Clark County School District for 20 years, teaching at both elementary and middle school levels. I am originally from Huntington Beach, California and earned my bachelor's degree and teaching credential from Cal State Stanislaus. I enjoy teaching and I'm currently in the process of becoming a National Board Certified Teacher.

My family keeps me busy outside of school. My two younger children attend local schools and are involved in various sports and activities in the community, while my oldest is studying at The University of Nevada, Reno. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, reading, and spending time outdoors with my family.

Meet in room 712 after school.

Meetings last from 2:15pm-3:30pm.

Typically we divide into two groups of students and one group bakes while the other group crafts. The second meeting of the month we flip flop the groups so that everyone has an opportunity to bake and craft.
