It is the mission of the K.O. Knudson Academy of Creative Arts & Technology Library Media Center to establish a culture that instills in its users a love of reading, a quest for curiosity and inquiry, and a desire to be informed, empowered, lifelong learners in this century and beyond. The library media center strives to provide a welcoming, collaborative, community space that promotes equitable access to information, fosters creativity and production, and supports district curriculum initiatives. This mission is accomplished by:
Fully integrating the school’s curriculum and practices into the library program.
Promoting the effective and ethical use of technology and information.
Stimulating an appreciation and love for both personal and academic reading.
Providing access to information in a variety of formats and platforms.
Closures and schedule changes will be announced in advance, when possible.
