Goodsprings Elementary Mission Statement
Goodsprings Elementary School will ensure that students achieve academically and demonstrate citizenship, responsibility, and respect for people and property.
Goodsprings Elementary is one of the last one room schools
to operate in Nevada.
We service students in grades K-5.
Our school and our town are rich in history.
We still ring the school bell every morning as we have done, every school day,
for the past 100 plus years.
FUN FACT: The first Goodsprings School was established in 1907 in a tent and Miss Winifred Hardy was the teacher. After a number of moves, the present building was erected in 1913. Goodsprings School is now on the National Register of Historical Places. Goodsprings School is the oldest school, in Clark County, that was built as a school and is still used as a school.
