To enroll, you must meet one of the following criteria:
Credit Deficiency: By Start of the School Year
9th grade student who has been retained 2 or more times in 8th grade or below and is at least 16 years old. (In some cases, a student who is 16 years or older who never attended high school).
10th grade student who started the school year with 0 credits.
11th grade student who started the school year with 5 or fewer credits.
12th grade who started the school year with 11 or fewer credits.
5th year student who started the school year with 17 or fewer credits.
6th – 7th year student who still requires graduation requirements and is less than 21.

Mission:
It is the mission of Sunset Morris Academy to assist the students of the Clark County School District by providing an alternative support system that meets the needs of students that require special assistance and/or unique programs to accomplish their goal of earning a high school diploma.

About Cowan Sunset High School
Cowan Sunset Hihg School is an in-person evening high school. Course options help students catch up on credits and/or get ahead in credits. Admissions is open throughout the academic year.

Mandatory DRAHS Orientation Course:
Completion required before you can take all other high school subjects. Many of your questions will be answer during this course!
Upon completion of all required components you will be officially enrolled and scheduled to meet with a counselor and get registered for courses. *Upon completion of all requirements, orientation and official enrollment, we will be able to provide enrollment verification and other resources provided to DRAHS students.

It's never too early to get your application submitted. In order to be considered for acceptance, the applicant MUST BE:
• 16-18 years of age on the first day of the class
• free from any felony charges or adjudications
• drug-free or willing to become drug free
• a US Citizen and resident of Nevada
• at risk of not completing high school with their peer group
• eligible to enroll in high school courses (must have completed 8th grade)
• voluntarily applying for admission to BBYCA
