Vision
Visual Art Class is helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness. Visual arts teach learners about color, layout, perspective, and balance: all techniques that are necessary in presentations (visual, digital) of academic work.
My art class is designed for beginning middle school level students. In this class you will learn about basic drawing, and choosing ideas that are considered when making art and how we apply these ideas to solving art problems. We will begin with basic drawing skills, Elements of Art concepts and then use those concepts to apply to different ideas to create an art project.

MEET THE TEACHER
Paola Piazzi was born and raised in a small town in North Italy. Her Secondary School education specialized in Art and Industrial Design. The first graduation was at the Academy of Fine Arts of Milan. Then, with the second graduation she specialized in Special Education at the State University of Milan, Department of Psychology in Milan. She worked in many Italian cities as a teacher and artist. She is an encouraging teacher, and a popular instructor of both children and adults. She is specialized in murals and public /or private art. She is also specialized in etching and artististic printmaking art techniques, porcelain painting, clay modeling, ceramics, glass fusing and much more art techniques. She creates and uses abstract and surrealistic painting too. In today’s world, I strive to approach the challenge of perfusing the same ideals of faith and worship with innovation, originality and a thorough understanding of contemporary art, while retaining tradition as a foundation for her work. First, she experienced the visual representation of religion, which has been important throughout history to provide a graceful and respectful illustration of God and his works. She likes to teach classic and figurative drawing, this is her main specialization, but she is expert teacher in porcelain painting, clay modeling, ceramics, glass fusing and much more art techniques. She creates and uses abstract and surrealistic painting too. In today’s world, I strive to approach the challenge of perfusing the same ideals of faith and worship with innovation, originality and a thorough understanding of contemporary art, while retaining tradition as a foundation for her work. Later I worked as Art Teacher at High School in Italy and since 1989. I've been teaching at Hyde Park MS in Las Vegas, NV since 2006 as Visual Art Teacher and Special Education. Paola Piazzi is an internationally recognized artist and designer, providing businesses and individuals with consulting, ideas and style for more than twenty years. She received numerous visual art awards in artistic competitions. Services can be requested in all continental United States as well as abroad.
Mrs. Piazzi has been volunteering for the past twelve years in social fields, sharing the healing effects of the arts with children programs. Former Rehabilitation Therapist at Mentesana Bilingual Counseling Center in Las Vegas. Paola Piazzi is a member of Artists Association.
