Fare Payment
Payments are made on the BusMinder Parent App by setting up the Payment Method (Step 1), then using the Top Up option (Step 2) to transfer funds to each student's account. This can be done at any time or as a set and forget by using the Auto Top Up function which is highly recommended.
A weekly reminder email is sent to parents/carers of students with a balance below $0.00
Step 1 - Setting Up the Payment Method (once off)
A Payment Method (Credit Card) must be set up in each Parent App account in order to make payments to the student's BusMinder Account/s. This is only required to be done once (unless you change your Credit Card) as follows:

Before you can "Top Up" a student's account, the payment method needs to be set up using the following steps:
Log in to the BusMinder Parent App (download from iOS or Android stores)
Tap "Account"
Tap "Payment"
Tap "Change Payment Method" and follow the prompts
Once the Payment method has been setup, the next step is to "Top Up" the student's account. The system has various manual "Top Up" amounts to choose from and a set and forget "Auto Top Up" option which is highly recommended.
Once the Payment Method has been set up, funds can be added to each Student's BusMinder account to pay for travel. This can be done manually or using the preferred $30 Auto Top Up function as outlined below.
Top Up of the Student Account
Each student account balance is to be managed from the Parent App as follows:
Log In to the BusMinder Parent App
Tap "Students"
Tap the student's name
Tap "Top Up"
Tap Custom to type in your own amount (minimum $10.00)
Tap Top Up to select $30.00 and select *Enable Auto Top Up (optional)
Tap "Checkout"
Tap "Buy Now"

The BusMinder Parent App offers the option to have the student's account "Auto Top Up" $30.00 each time the student balance drops below $5.00 This option can be turned on under the Top Up $30.00 fare option and then Cancelled by the user by going back into Top Up $30.00 option at any time.
Please note that there are no refunds of money remaining on BusMinder Accounts so if a students is approaching time to leave the College, it is best to ensure this option is switched off so there is time to run the balance down.
