CASE HISTORY

The patient, a woman of 54, suffered from metrorrhagia and a diagnosis of carcinoma of the body of the uterus was made. Histological examination of the curetting's however showed that the tumor was a tuberculous one.

PATHOLOGY

The specimen consists of a small senile uterus together with appendages. There is no evidence of tuberculosis in this specimen.
