CASE HISTORY

The patient a women of 55, had had six pregnancies. She died during an operation for the reduction of a long standing umbilical hernia. At autopsy, it was found that the uterus was almost entirely prolapsed into the vagina.

PATHOLOGY

Consists of the left half of a uterus. Uterus was almost entirely prolapsed into the vagina.
