REPRO 104 : Double Uterus
CASE HISTORY
This was an incidental finding in a woman who died of tuberculous kidneys. It is interesting to note that she had given birth to two normal children.
PATHOLOGY
The specimen has been opened from the back. The vagina has a partial septum separating it into one larger and one smaller compartment. The cervix begins as a solitary canal about 6-7mm long and then divides and passes into two separate uteri, each with their own tube and ovary.
