REPRO 101 : Testis - Hydrocele

CASE HISTORY

The symptoms were those of acute intestinal obstruction following strangulation of the ileum by a band passing between a large cystic tumour of the left kidney and the anterior abdominal wall. The notes do not refer to the hydrocele, which was bilateral. Death occurred a few hours after laparotomy.

PATHOLOGY

The specimen shows one half of the testicle and thickened and distended tunica vaginalis, with the lower end of the spermatic cord.
