GIBI 72 : Liver – Secondary Adenocarcinoma
CASE HISTORY
No notes available.
PATHOLOGY
The specimen is a vertical antero-posterior slice of an enlarged liver (3,400 grams), and shows some of the numerous masses of secondary carcinoma it contained. Some of the individual masses are very large, the larger of the two big ones seen in this slice being 14 cm in its longer diameter. The crenated outline so frequently found in secondary adeno-carcinoma in the liver is shown clearly on one aspect.
