Dynamic Clinical Experience (DCE)
Dynamic Clinical Experience (DCE)
Overview
The Dynamic Clinical Experience (DCE) is the next evolution of our Virtual Clinical Experience (VCE), designed to provide students with immersive, real-time access to clinical procedures—without the need to crowd around the bedside.
With a simple setup using a smartphone and neck mount, DCE projects live demonstrations directly onto seminar room screens via AirPlay or Zoom, giving every student a clear view and an enhanced learning experience.
Why DCE?
Reduce overcrowding in clinical teaching environments
Improve visibility of small, detailed examinations (e.g., hand, wrist, or cranial nerve exams)
Support students who are absent or require remote access
Enable scalable, tech-assisted teaching with minimal setup
Key Features
Multiple Camera Views – First and third person perspectives for better understanding
User-Friendly Setup – Familiar devices like iPhones with simple mounts
Live Projection – Seamless AirPlay or HDMI broadcast to seminar room TVs
Minimal Support Needed – Promotes independence for clinicians and educators
