SUGGESTIONS FOR TEACHING KINDERgarteners
Allow Kindergarteners to experiment and explore with materials
Let them make portraits of themselves, family, and, friends
Give skills and media lessons step by step
Allow students to make individual portion of an all class project
Instruct students by using enthusiastic hands on teaching methods and tools including books, games, music and technology
As children create art they are learning about their world (colors, shapes and sizes of objects)
Introducing a variety of art materials allows students to develop sensory skills
