***Directions and format for a college/highlight tape for seniors is listed below (bring in non-high school players or coaches to create your video):
1. Introduce yourself and state your height, weight, standing vertical, blocking vertical, approach vertical, intended major in college, and your high school GPA (30 Seconds).
2. Serving - Float, jump float, and jump serve at two different camera angles to show footwork and ball flight (30 Seconds).
3. Serve Receive - Solo on court or during match play receiving float serves and top spin serves (1 Minute).
4. Hitting - Three different sets to hit (1 Minute).
5. Digging - Dig from two different hitting angles in the back row showing transition (1 Minute).
6. Blocking - Straight-up and using footwork (30 Seconds).
7. Game Footage - Should only highlight you, not other players on the court and also could be used for the skills above (1-3 Minutes)
Important Dates for 2023 - (Updated 9/27/23)
8/21 - 8/24 - JV & Varsity Tryouts 8 - 11 AM CNS Main Gym. Teams will be made at the end of tryouts on 8/24.
8/25 - JV & Varsity Practice 8 - 11 AM CNS Main Gym
8/26 - JV & Varsity Practice - 8 - 10 AM CNS Lower Gym with a Parents Meeting from 10 - 10:30 AM in the CNS Lower Gym
8/28 - JV & Varsity Practice 8 - 11 AM CNS Lower Gym
8/29 - JV & Varsity Scrimmage Tourney at Midlakes HS/MS. Based on the tenative schedule, both teams play from 1:30 PM - 5 PM. Players/Coaches will help arrange carpools and rides as there will be no bus.
8/30 - JV & Varsity Team/Individual Pics at 10:30 AM. CNS Main Gym. We will arrange rides for the players to go to play beach in the Bigford Classic on Lakeshore Road. We will be done between 130 - 2 PM. Lunch will be provided to the players. Parents are welcome to stay and watch.
8/31 - JV & Varsity Practice 8 - 11 AM CNS Main Gym
9/1 - JV Practice 8 - 10 AM CNS Lower Gym. Varsity Pre-Season Tourney at Bville HS. Bus will leave CNS at 7 AM. We will play between 8 AM - 12 Noon.
9/2 - 9/4 - Players will have the weekend off to distribute their Bottle/Can Flyers.
9/5 - JV & Varsity Practices begin their regular school schedule which is 3 - 5 PM at CNS
9/8 - JV & Varsity Match vs Baldwinsville @ CNS. JV starts at 430 PM with Varsity to follow.
9/10 - Bottle & Can Drive 9 AM - 1 PM. Cicero Can and Bottle Redemption Center.
9/13 - JV & Varsity Match vs Syracuse City @ HW Smith MS. JV starts at 430 PM with Varsity to follow.
9/15 - JV & Varsity Match vs F-M @ CNS. JV starts at 430 PM with Varsity to follow.
9/16 - JV & Varsity Match vs Midlakes @ CNS. JV starts at 5 PM with Varsity to follow.
9/20 - JV & Varsity Match vs Liverpool @ CNS. JV starts at 430 PM with Varsity to follow.
9/24 - JV & Varsity Match vs Canisius @ CNS. JV starts at 11 AM with Varsity to follow.
9/27 - JV & Varsity Match vs LWA @ CNS. JV starts at 430 PM with Varsity to follow.

10/7 - JV & Varsity Match vs Baldwinsville @ Baker HS. Varsity starts at 5 PM with JV to follow.
10/8 - Varsity Only Tourney at Penfield HS. Play starts at 830 AM.
10/10 - JV Only Tourney at Penfield HS. Play starts at 830 AM.
10/12 - Make-A-Wish Week - JV & Varsity Match vs Syracuse City @ CNS. JV starts at 430 PM with Varsity to follow.
10/13 - JV & Varsity Match vs F-M @ F-M HS. JV starts at 5 PM with Varsity to follow.
10/15 - Make-A-Wish Week - JV & Varsity Matches vs Penfield (2 PM - Varsity in Main Gym and JV in Lower Gym) and Shen (6 PM - Varsity in Main Gym and JV in Lower Gym). Penfield and Shen will play in both gyms vs each other at 4 PM.
10/17 - JV & Varsity Match vs Liverpool @ Liverpool HS. JV starts at 5 PM with Varsity to follow.
10/21 - JV & Varsity Match vs Central Square @ Central Square HS. JV starts at 430 PM with Varsity to follow.
10/22 - JV & Varsity Match vs Webster @ Webster Schroeder HS. JV starts at 12 Noon with Varsity to follow.
10/27 - Senior Night - JV & Varsity Match vs Oswego @ CNS. JV starts at 5 PM with Varsity to follow.
10/29 - End of the Season JV Tourney @ ESM HS/Pine Grove MS. Start time TBA.
11/5 - Sectional Finals - 1 PM @ Liverpool HS.
