Class Overview
This year, we are using the Illustrative Mathematics (IM) problem-based curriculum, where students learn by doing, sharing their thinking, and discovering how mathematical concepts connect to the real world.
The main goal this year is to build confident mathematical thinkers, strong problem solvers, and effective communicators.
In the Grade 8 Math classes, we will work to build a strong foundation in algebraic thinking, geometric transformations, and functional reasoning.
In the Algebra I classes, we will explore functions, algebraic modeling, and statistical analysis in depth.
Note About Assessments: There are no retakes once a test or quiz has been taken.
