Welcome to our classroom! My name is Erin Carchidi, and I'll be your kindergarten teacher this year!

In kindergarten we learn to be independent learners and problem solvers. We work on social emotional skills to foster independence. Students work on developing fine and gross motor skills. We use Bridges Mathematics which engages students in exploring, discussing, and applying mathematical concepts. It uses hands-on activities, visual models, and engaging routines to support all students in making sense of mathematics. Our monthly classroom themes work on science and social studies throughout the school year.
