Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jatupol Junthip is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University. His primary areas of specialized expertise include the application of polymers in medicine, environmental protection, sound-absorbing materials, and thermal insulation, alongside science and chemistry education and knowledge management in teaching and professional practice.
Dr. Junthip completed an extensive international academic trajectory in France before furthering his pedagogical credentials in Thailand. He earned his Bachelor's degree (Licence de sciences, technologies, santé, mention Physique - Chimie) from Université du Maine, France, in 2010. He then pursued advanced studies at Université Lille I - Sciences et technologies in France, obtaining a Master's degree (Master de sciences, technologies, santé, mention Chimie, spécialité Ingénierie des systèmes polymères) in 2012, followed by a Doctoral degree (Doctorat en molécule et matière condensée) in 2015. To strengthen his educational foundation, he completed a Graduate Diploma in Curriculum and Instruction from Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University in 2024.
His academic research spans polymer science, environmental upcycling, functional biomaterials, and active learning methodologies. In addition to empirical research, Dr. Junthip has consistently published institutionally recognized Knowledge Management (KM) Best Practices in teaching and professional development:
Project-Based Learning (PBL) in "Green World": Transforming plastic waste into functional items and eco-friendly souvenirs (2026).
Open Educational Resources (OER): Utilizing open media for introductory polymer chemistry instruction (2025).
AI & Digital Integration: Incorporating ChatGPT for research presentations in seminar courses (2024), Voxy online media for English-integrated chemistry learning (2022), and online teaching and testing in Chemistry 1 (2019).
