In the 2018-2019 school year I am so thankful to receive a classroom grant from the Norfolk Public Schools Foundation. This will help me continue to have flexible seating in my classroom. I have loved giving my students the choice of sitting where they learn best. I have been slowly introducing this style of seating into my classroom for many years. My room looks very different with more tables, seat choices, crate seats, and standing tables.

There is a lot of research to support flexible seating in the classroom, and if you're curious to learn more, this is a good starting place.
