LATIN II

Latin II continues the development of the skills of reading and listening comprehension.  By the end of the course students will be able to read and comprehend longer Latin passages adapted for the intermediate learner.  When reading, students will be able to identify more complex vocabulary, sentence structure, and grammatical relationships.  In addition, students will acquire an understanding of the cultural and political heritage of the Romans and their impact on modern civilization.  Honors will cover, in greater breadth and depth, the same core material and will feature additional topics.
