This course has been developed to continue students’ education in the field of Graphic Design and Digital Art. Like Graphic Design 1, this course is strongly rooted in the Elements of Art and Principles of Design, but these concepts are taken to a higher level, driving students to apply these theories in conceptual design. The projects that the students will complete are drawn from both the graphic design and fine art industries. The students have a chance to use tools that are on the cutting edge of technology to complete these projects. Examples of student projects and topics include book, comic book, and manga design and layout, branding and identity, including logos for personalized companies, the use of typography in design, material studies, t-shirt designs, and poster design
